Faith Nicolet

My mother loss came when I was 21 during my finals week of college when my mother died of cancer. Within a week, I had multiple losses, as five other things drastically changed in my life. Later in life, I had several experiences that led me to learn more about the way I processed grief and my early grief experience. Motherless Daughters has taught me many things about grief, loss, and the grief cycle to help my own healing and the healing of others. My mother loss has affected my decisions for my whole adult life. Now I spend every day trying to help other people. The Motherless journey for me has been one of growth, hope, love, and learning the value of changing lives. There can be hope and joy after grief and trauma.”
