I was 23 years young when I lost my mother. She was only 52. That year was 1979, so my journey has been long. There have been so many events in my life I wish I could have shared with my mother. In 1999, I experienced some difficult situations and said to a friend, “I need a mother.” In 2000, I attended the first Motherless Daughter’s Study Group.
Since my journey, I have been a prayer partner for a few women, but decided in 2015 to reconnect with the Motherless Daughters Ministry. I felt that I should repeat the Journey class so I could be ready to help others. Mother loss is a life long journey that we experience over and over again. We are not alone. Here is a group of women willing to walk with you.
