Group Leader

DETAILS:

Description:  A Motherless Daughters Group Leader is a highly trained and skilled servant leader who assists with co-leading support groups and assisting with courses. She is neither a counselor nor a therapist.  She has met all of the requirements as outlined below for this role. 

Requirements:  

  • Complete Group Leader Training (8 hrs.) provided and customized scheduling for you. 
  • Supports the Mission, Vision, and Core Beliefs of the Motherless Daughters Ministry 
  • Must be accepting of other’s belief systems. 
  • Experience with use of Zoom video conferencing technology. 

Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Represents the Motherless Daughters Ministry with professionalism and Christian love. 
  1. Maintains confidentiality with participant’s information outside of the group. 
  1. Works collaboratively and plans with her group/team on how best to serve the woman.   
  1. Completes the agreed upon commitment for the group study. 
  1. Minimum commitment to the ministry is 25 hours over 2 years. 

Personal skills: 

Ability to actively listen and ask questions. Good Interpersonal skills; good communication/conversational skills; ability to work with and communicate with a diverse population; adaptability; flexibility
