Stuck part 5 – Growing Up is Hard to do — The individuation process

What happens when you lose a mother before your late teens? The individuation process stops. You may be emotionally stuck. Regardless of whether the mother-daughter relationship has been either extremely positive or particularly difficult. You can grow up to be a fully functioning adult but when you are triggered emotionally, your emotional reactions will go back to your age of loss.
