Wendy Lerner currently resides in Metro Atlanta, is originally from Mississippi, and graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS in Accounting. She obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation before moving to Georgia. Wendy has served multiple nonprofit organizations. For the last 6 years, she is a Mentor with Service Corp of Retired Executives, (SCORE) teaching QuickBooks, as well as serving as treasurer for the local SCORE chapter. Wendy worked with AARP (American Association Retired Persons) preparing tax returns for elderly and low income individuals.
Wendy’s expertise is in determining the best and most tax-advantaged ways for individuals to give to nonprofit organizations. With this knowledge base she is able to help the donors contribute more dollars to their organization as well as to save taxes on the individual’s tax return.
